  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.

  • The author declares to know that Humana.Mente adopts the principle of open access. • The author declares to know that Humana.Mente adopts a blind peer review process, and that submitting a manuscript to Humana.Mente does not guarantee that it will be published.
  • Humana.Mente follows a double-blind review process, requiring authors to prepare an anonymized submission. To prepare an anonymized submission, authors are expected to remove author and institutional identities from the entire manuscript. Authors citing their own prior work should discuss it in the third person.

Author Guidelines

Humana.Mente publishes exclusively in English. Papers must be original and not currently under review elsewhere. Moreover, Humana.Mente considers only submissions addressed to one of the Special Issues advertised on the Announcements section. Normally articles are 8000-10,000 words, but may be as long as 12.000 words (including abstract, footnotes, and references) depending on the subject matter. Papers that are longer than 12,000 words are returned to authors for trimming.

Humana.Mente adopts the APA Style: https://www.apastyle.org

Publishing on Humana.Mente is free of charge, the only criterion adopted for selecting manuscripts is their scientific quality.
