How to get published

Humana.Mente is a quarterly magazine. Each issue is monographic and addresses a specific topic of debate in contemporary philosophy. Each issue is edited by a specialist of the subject, usually an emerging researcher with both philosophical and scientific competence. As an issue is published, the international scientific community will be mainly informed via online newsgroups. Primary distribution of Humana.Mente is over the internet, as an electronic journal with worldwide potential audience. In addition, each issue of the journal will be available in hard copy version for members of the Scientific Board, authors and selected libraries, in a limited number of copies.

If you want your contribution to be published in this journal, please send it to: redazione@humana.mente.it. All submitted papers will be evaluated by a board of qualified referees.
Each issue of Humana.Mente focuses on a specific theme; if you are interested in the broad theme and the list of the topics for the forthcoming issues, you can check out our website

Humana.Mente features contributions in English and Italian; papers in other languages are accepted as well.

What is the print run?
How is Humana.Mente distributed?
Humana.Mente is both a paper and internet journal. The electronic version of the journal is free and promoted through notices of publication to the most important philosophical mailing lists, philosophical forums and websites.
Being Humana.Mente completely open-access, we decided to print only a limited number of copies to be distributed to a selected list of important university libraries.
The total number of copies per issue is about 200. Obviously, we reserve a number of copies for the authors (normally two copies for each author of the issue).
What is the name of the publisher of Humana.Mente? The printed version of the journal is published by the Italian publishing house Edizioni ETS (PISA, Italy), website: www.edizioniets.com.
The online version is promoted by the Italian Society of Philosophy (www.sfi.it), one of the most important philosophical associations in Italy.
